I had a no start issue with my XJ earlier this summer. The battery was fully charged plus good fuel pressure and it cranked but wouldn't start. It turned out to be a bad CPS in my case. I replaced the sensor and it started right up.

That sucks! Ryan, I have a set of pinion setup bearings that I have used to setup my HP44, XJ44, and Rubi44. I would just jack up the side you're working on a couple of inches to keep the fluid inside the diff.
Find a small nut that fits over that nub and weld them together then put a socket over the nut to extract it.

Thanks Kurt! I could just take one of the 4 out and go find a match but I really don't want to risk snapping it off and open a can of worms. :-o I'm not ready to deal with a broken/spinning bolt at the moment. ;)

'04 TJ crossmember bolt size

There should be total of 6 holding the tranny crossmember/skid but 2 are missing on mine. Anyone know the correct size? Thanks!

Sounds like the older Saginaw box is better? The CJ version is a 4-bolt box, correct? I wonder if it can be bolted on to an XJ using only 3 bolts.
