JK Scrambler
River Raider is doing a JK "Scrambler" build for Rock Krawler Suspension. These guys build some of the best armor and other protective products I've seen, they also have done some pretty impressive things with JK's over the last few years in their custom shop. I figured Doug would like thi...

Anyone have a tube bender?
I'm looking to build a different set of tube fenders to put on my corner armor that will fit better with a comp cut. Wondering if anyone has a tube bender I could use, 1" DOM

There you are, glad you made it over, Doug! Membership is easily the best $50 you'll spend your jeep.

Post trail maintenance
I have to admit, I didn't retorque after ~50 miles like I should have. And I know better. Sometimes my hard-headed self needs a stern reminder for things like this. Truth is I'm fortunate I didn't have to watch a 90 pound rubber bowling ball take out another car on Hwy 1 South. Looks like I'll be ad...

Post trail maintenance
Got a lesson in PM/post trail maintenance last night. Coming over the Tobin bridge from Revere (and delicious roast beef sandwiches at Kelly's) I started getting a vibration in the rear, by the time I was able to pull off on the Charlestown exit and off the road safely it was a heavy vibration. Hopp...

Business owners, lend a hand on shipping?
I wanted to see if there are any local business owners who might help me out on a drop shipment. I have a set of 5 tires coming in probably next week, and my apartment in Somerville is not the ideal place for deliveries like this. I do have a place I've used for drop ships before, but it's down in Y...

So here's final decision: Outside of maybe a run or two, I'm going to shelf the stickies for a while. Time to put the brakes on this build a bit. Main reason I got them is the deal I got...almost $300 a tire less than MSRP. Going to sell my 35's and they wheels they're mounted on. They've been alrig...

Superchips Trail Jammer kit - anyone have it?
The Flashpaq business is pretty much smoke and mirrors in my opinion. They are handy to program for gear and tire size changes, but there are tools that will do it without the "performance" options for less than half the money. The limiting factor here is typically your injectors. Even if ...

What I'm saying is in 2WD you won't know it's there. It only locks if your front driveline is engaged.

If you want to spend money though, through it my way I need to pay for a wedding. Now that sounds much more like irresponsible spending than anything I'm planning. I would sooner buy you a week of lap dances :D Has anybody broke a 44 in the field ,that we know of ? I know the JK 44 needs help in ar...

IMO, you're not going to get $5500 for 44's. The NEOW guys swap in one tons for a fraction of that. I recommend wheeling what you have and not worry about it until it breaks, then upgrade. Get some seat time and get some study time on field repairs. No need to go to one tons right off the bat. When...

Re: Lockers
I'm talking an automatic locker. Considering the locking hub upgrade, this starts to get expensive. I just listed my 44's on NEOW, if I can get the asking price, I'll probably just move forward with some ready made 60's.
