How about the CESS straps? Any good? Oh. And I know about getting one without hooks. I have one that a friend gave me but don't plan to use it. Thank you though.

Recovery straps
Just wondering which recovery straps you all use? Smitty/rugged ridge/pro comp????
I don't have a winch (yet) so I want/need a good recovery strap. I know I show have one that's good for 20k lbs. just want to make sure I get a good one.
Thanks.

Re: Lift kit for JK
Yeah. I was looking at the RK. Nice lift. But I would like to go with new shocks instead of factory with extensions. But that jacks price up. The Rancho 2" comes with the 9000 shocks for $400+/- with a rebate. Anyone running Rancho?

Lift kit for JK
Hi all. I'm ready for a lift. Need input. Please. 2012 JKU sport. It's a DD. I'm planning on about 70% road 30% off-road trails. I'm in New England so deal with snow as well. I've been looking at the Rancho 2" kit w/9000 shocks, but not sure how I feel about the spring/spacer combo. Also lookin...

Re: CB Radio Mounting options
While on a CB topic. Has anyone used a Uniden PRO505XL or a Cobra 19DX? Looking for something small and fairly inexpensive. Also looking at the Cobra 75 WX ST.
Thanks. Sorry to hi-jack

Re: Any mountain biking fans?
I used to. It's been a few years. And my bike needs a little work. But I'd be up. Used ride Vietnam in Milford, Cutler park in Newton a few times and did the Fells once.

Re: Let's Talk Lifts . . .
Frank, I completely agree with you. I really don't think I'll see my jeep more that 2.5" of lift. I was thinking of the Rancho due to the price, current rebate and I hear that some guys got closer to a 3" out of it in the front. Leveled the rear and then added rear springs. Unfortunately, ...

Re: Let's Talk Lifts . . .
Has anyone seen or used the Rancho 2" sport lift with 9000 shocks? They have 2" front springs and 3/4" rear spring spacers. I've been thinking of going that route. $425-$449 with a $59 rebate back sounds like a good deal.
Any thoughts????

Re: Another possible new member
Cool. I grew up in Newton. Great town. I'm only 15 minutes away now. 101 sounds awesome. I've been wheeling a few time. Way in the past and also with the Jeep. But it would be great to do it. 4/11 might be tough for me though. 18th would be better. But I'm just a newbie. Sent from my iPhone using Ta...
