Another possible new member

Unread post by JKU sport »

Hi all. I got my 1st Jeep 3/2012. A 2012 sport unlimited. I just hit the 3yr. mark and want to join a group and start having fun. I haven't done too much as of yet. Just a bunch of small stuff. I'm bummed I missed the meet up on the 8th. When is the next meet up planned?
Thanks.

welcome! We have a 101 planned for 4/11 but it may need to be pushed back until we get more snow off of the ground. Stick around, pull up a chair and enjoy the forum until then! What have you done to the Jeep so far? :)

Sup Dude : Welcome to the group. Being a member gives you sooooo much more access to land not open to the public. We usually have several different trails running the same day for experience and equipment levels. Most trails have what we call a go-round for the hard stuff. Either way you wont ever be left on a trail. Send in your app. and lets go have fun. I run the oldest Junk in the club , Cant wait to drool on your fenders. FjR68

Where are you all out of?
VooDoo
I just put on DuraTrac 285/70/17 tires with 1.5" wheel spacers. Front window tint, Smittybuilt tail gate G.E.A.R, mirror relocation (for doors off) tow hitch with shackle hitch, grill mod, Alpine head unit with Focal separates up front and back up camera and cup holders in rear bumper.
I think that's it for now. I have 1" front spring spacers that I've been going back and fourth about putting on. Thinking of getting the Rancho 2" sport lift with the 9000 shocks.

Welcome aboard. I'm in Newton, not too far from you. Jeep 101 would be a good first event to check out, even if you don't wheel.

Cool. I grew up in Newton. Great town. I'm only 15 minutes away now.
101 sounds awesome. I've been wheeling a few time. Way in the past and also with the Jeep. But it would be great to do it. 4/11 might be tough for me though. 18th would be better. But I'm just a newbie.
