my name is Jeff and I am a Jeep Addict. Its been 1 day since I bought another Jeep....

I'm now as cool as ISH and can scratch my Jeep itch without adding more scratches to my DD. Not sure how many of you are on Jeeps of MA but there was a crazy good deal on a Rubicon there yesterday and I am the proud new owner of a 03 Rubicon. Basicly bone stock aside from the rust, I will be transferring my old 35s under the Jeep and eventually most likely putting my old 97 TJ body ontop of this one to take advantage of the cage and pre-drilled holes for the Poison Spyder armor, sliders bumper etc.... Goal is to stay LCG on this one and hope to do 35s with no lift and whatever trimming I might need to... likely will eventually sell the Rubi axles under it and put my old long arms and axles under this one as well... 8-)
A bunch of rust under the drivers seat and the torque box on that side is bad too but over all it seems fairly solid. Picking it up and dragging it home soon.

He sold me the Jeep and I don't need the 33s so I worked a deal out for him to sell the tires separately I have 2 sets of 35s at home already and no need for 33s as nice and new as they are.

I know I am like 12th in line but, in general, would a D44 fit on the front of my JK? and if so, how would that change my performance?

A D44 from a TJ would be too narrow for a JK. The main advantage on a Rubicon is it has a locker and larger U joint and thicker axle shafts / higher spline count than a D30. :)

After 8hrs with The Kurt.

2" lift, new fluids, belt, plugs, rear diff cover replaced, locker pump replaced, Drivers side shock mounted (yeah it was not attached at the top.) :? and now sitting on 35s. Missed the after pic but it was about 28" to the bumper top.

Next up working with Ish today. 8-) Removed the front bumper and installed the BFH poison Spyder bumpa, removed the original fenders and removed and remounted the brackets for the various under hood components. Replaced the front shocks and added the ARB pump mount.

nice work! she looks killer.

BTW if you need a D44 buyer let me know, I am starting to consider axels and this would be a nice easy way to do it.

Are you looking for stock or built TJ D44s? I have my old set that is set up for RockKrawler long arms and has an ARB in the front and chromo shafts in back with 4.88 gears. I also now have factory D44 under the Rubicon with the stock shafts and pumps / lockers... LMK what you are thinking. Can do a package deal on the long arms and built axles.... Trussed and skidded and a lot of upgrades on the old ones... New ones would be bolt in... :bluesbros: Make an offer and we can go from there... 8-)
