Re: SteveB and Tyler
Joe, plan on keeping the drivetrain, the AX5's seem plentiful in boneyards, so I figured worst case a used one would not be difficult to find should it expire. Also, please define "if you don't beat it off road." , and do MJ's float? As for transmission oil, you're over my head. I'll have to trust the garage I've been going to for 25 years. Hopefully they won't put anything bad in there.

Re: SteveB and Tyler
UPDATE....My Bride likes Jeeps...insisted we buy this..
'72 It has a blown 304..found another 304 from a 73 Javelin which I am tearing down at work and will rebuild to give her a nice summer daily driver.
but........that is on hold...this happened Sunday 9-13-15...
so the Comanche needs some love first.
Hope to make the fall meeting.

Re: SteveB and Tyler
Im thinkin Joe might be a little bias on the 4 banger thing. There seams to be a Mahindra tractor 4 cyl. diesel engine that has the capability of directly bolting to a Jeep bell housing and they have the flywheel you need , everything else is bolt on. FjR68

Re: SteveB and Tyler
Josh, I rear ended a dumba$$ who missed their left turn and decided to back up on a blind corner and state highway. Bottom line, they weren't cited, I wasn't cited, but I own it. Frankie, I need to keep my Mahindra running, and like my 4, this is all cosmetic, time to do a 97+ front end face lift?
