The F-150 Raptor has beadlocks available from the factory.

This is true; however, the wheels are shipped as bead-lock compatible. If I recall Ford does not actually mount the tire with the bead-lock ring attached. They warn is if you convert to a true bead-lock (install of the bead-lock ring) the vehicle is then to be used for off-road only.

I like the look of bead-lock wheels and the wheels you selected look good. Just make sure you find a friendly inspection station.

I spoke with EVO off road, North ridge 4x4, and the project jk/wayalife guys and they all run atx slab beadlocks on the street for their shop jeeps and put about 40k on them driving to MOAB ect and have no issues or cop issues so it seems pretty regular. I would not do what northridge does and only check the bolt every year....

I just stopped and showed the atx slabs to a state trooper who said they were fine to run on the street. No extra liability than have normal wheels and having them fail.

Some of you long-time members might remember a state Trooper who used to belong to the club, who ran full functional bead lock on his rig. Not going to mention any names in here...

Or a local cop that still is in the club that runs them on his Jeep now? :) YMMV. :bluesbros:

Im told and have read , most cops in a traffic stop dont know what to look for and thats how we get outta that can-o worms. Unless they have a DOT sticker you all know they wont fly if they get questioned. Worst case is you fib a little bit and tell them when asked ---- Oh no, There simulocks ! FjR68
