Hi all! I'm Dave and just joined BSJ.
I drive a 2023 JL Wrangler Sahara 4xe (sky one-touch) with stock 31.9" tires with 20" rims. I intend to swap tires to 33" KO2's this year (open to suggestions for something better). I've only added superficial interior mods so far and looking forward to bumper/winch/skids as well as other modes in the near future.
This is my second Wrangler (first was a 2007 JKU 2-dr stick with 33 KO2's), and my wife drives Grand Cherokee's for many years. This is my first off-road club and have not taken my wrangler off-road yet (only ATV off-road trail experience so far).
I'm really looking forward to BSJ club events and learning from the members.

Welcome Dave. Class 6 runs are fun and a great way to get you feet wet. There also some cool properties. Look for evites to club runs, they generally come about 2 weeks before the run.

Welcome to the club! I like the KO2's for moderate and dry terrain and even some snow, they don't get as good of grip as others but they behave well on the road too so its a good compromise for a daily driver.
Turn up the radio and Bump it! that will buff right out.

New Member question: Is MA OHV registration still required? (https://baystatejeepers.com/ohv/) Looking at the pictures from trail rides I don't see any ohv stickers on vehicles as indicated in this page. If so, do we just carry the registration and stickers, and not have to apply them? DaveJ

Re: New Member - DaveJ
Most carry them in glove box as its not required to be on the vehicle. Some even are on a magnet.

What kind of magnet works best? I tried a magnetic photo pocket, but doesn't hold well enough.

Re: New Member - DaveJ
Welcome aboard Dave! I 2nd the cut to fit magnets that Ish recommended. I have the same ones and have had no issues after 3 years. Definitely attend the spring meeting and 101. Evites should be rolling out in next few weeks. Next mod should be skid plates. Oil/Tran plate for sure. The stock gas tank and transfer case skid will suffice for bit on the greens and blues.

FYI, magnets don’t work on the JL aluminum body.
