Here is my setup. Note I do not have Maximus 3 reinforcement bracket installed to allow hoop to tie into frame. My Warn 10 sits too big in the bumper to allow for it. That's why my hoop is just cosmetic.

Mike Thank you For the information and picture. I didn’t realize Maximus 3 has reinforcement brackets. I ordered the smittybilt Gen 3 winch for now I don’t know if it will block the brackets. But I love the clean look of your set up.

I was waiting on the winch and warn winch plate. (Just got an email the plate went on back order with no projected date from warn hopefully I can find one)
I got mine on Craigslist, worth keeping an eye out.

Thank you Derek. I contacted the seller it looks in great condition but from the picture it’s missing the 2 bumper spacers and the front plate that goes onto the bumper. I’m looking to see if I can get them separately or if seller can find them

I was looking for a warn winch plate as well and gave up when I saw rockhard4x4 ones which sell for less and the hoop is an option from rockhard4x4, just as it is for Warn. I am not sure what the delivery time from rockhard4x4 is just yet, I think I am overloading their capacity with all my orders, but there are other places that might have the rockhard4x4 winch plate in stock, I didn't look that hard.
Turn up the radio and Bump it! that will buff right out.

Congrats. So many JL options offered [but unfortunately on back order] these days which were simply not available two years ago.

Well I finally finished the winch install. I sent back the smittybilt winch and got the Warn VR EVO 10s. I ended up going with the warn brush bar as it allowed the tow strap to hook on the tow hooks. The only thing I don’t like 100% is the warn fairlead license plate holder I don’t like the post’s sticking out. If I can find the warn one that come’s stock with the warn winch plate I’ll switch it out. I bought a tuffy flip up plate holder but I like the look of the hook better.

Well I couldn’t get the line to free spool got some advice from the new friend I bought the winch plate from. I had already pretensIoned the line but it still didn’t free spool. I hooked it to a tree and I backed up and pulled out in free spool. I think the issue was the first wrap on the spool was binding? Took it off to 6-7 wraps left on spool. Rewound and every 10-15 feet I’d free spool by hand to make sure it would. Seems to be ok. Definitely different from steel lines. It was a great tip. Working great
