So now there can be no complaints about tire tread outside the wheel wells...
Still have my 33"s, so all good on that front.Hank wrote:If they give you any guff, I've got some smaller tires you can borrow.
And don't forget all the "Bro Trucks" with their tires COMPLETELY outside their fenders...smarshall wrote:Wow, they really didn't pass that? I feel like half the wranglers on the road in MA stick out an inch or two.
What exactly is your setup? I haven't had any issue with my 33s. If memory serves, and it rarely does, the tires are 11.5" wide on a 9" wide wheel with a -12mm offset (~4.5" backspacing) and stock fender flares. Based on past interactions, I think my inspectors are thorough and stick to the rules so if you're around that same sort of setup I can't imagine you'll have a problem.smarshall wrote:I just got some 33's put on and I'm worried it wont pass now haha. I should get it inspected before I sell my stock wheels off.
Funny enough, I have the exact same setup. That is good to hear I should be in the clear. There is a local place that builds up jeeps that I can get an inspection at. I somehow doubt they are going to reject a jeep as un-built as mine haha.wrath0r wrote:What exactly is your setup? I haven't had any issue with my 33s.
