Hello from Arlington

Unread post by RichBlackJK »

Greetings everybody. My name is Rich from Arlington. Glad to be accepted into the group. I bought a brand new black jku with a 6mt around 5 months ago and have been modding it to my liking since. I have put a 2.5 inch lift with fox performance shocks, 18 inch XD addicts with 35 inch Nitto ridge grappler tires. Barricade trail force front bumper and rear bumper with tire carrier. I have also added a magnaflow black series exhaust to the mix. In the near future i am planning on replacing speakers and adding a subwoofer and rhino lining my side steps. I just joined BSJ and look forward to taking this new toy out. I have only had experience with light trails and water crossings. Want to see what this thing can do. This is my third jeep at 26 years old. Must be hooked.

Welcome, Rich!

Wise decision to join the club. You can look forward to a pretty active schedule of events next year. Although it sounds as though you have some experience, you might enjoy our Jeep 101 in the Spring.

You'll have to check to see if there is room, but there is a Toy Run coming up soon. It's not a BSJ run, but it is open to our members. You should have received an invitation as I just sent one to you. Hope you can make it.

We're here to help, so don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions or looking for opinions. We certainly have plenty of those.

By the way, how do you like those Ridge Grapplers? I just bought a set of those a few months ago as well.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm looking forward to getting involved and would love to try and get into the Jeep 101 meet. @ralphtommacio I like the ridge grapplers. They provide an aggressive tread pattern with the benefits of an all terrain tire on the road. Highly recommended tire best of both worlds imp.
