Hello from Arlington!

Unread post by SWSMTN »

Excited to make it into the club!!!

When I was younger my dad would take me off roading in his CJ7...since then my dream was to have a jeep of my own. In 2009 I picked up a JKU and have used it as a daily driver and toured across the country and back (3 weeks of visiting breweries). I'm just now in the process of adding some mods and looking forward to testing it out and spending time on the trails and meeting fellow jeepers!

Currently running stock but next week putting on a 2.5" RK lift, ARB front & rear bumpers, LOD rails, JW speaker head/fog lights. I'll be sure to post some before/after photos once completed! Looking forward to learning more and have longer term goals of 35s (currently have 32s), re-gearing plus lockers, winch.....

Hope to meet everyone soon!

Cheers,

Eric

Welcome, Eric. Yes, you just made it into the club. We have reached our maximum member limit.

Sounds like you have an agressive plan for mods. Post some photos so we can see your starting point.

Welcome Eric. Don't worry about being stock, c'mon out and play. I have a stocker with 31's, a winch, and lots of armor underneath and I get by. There are mods in the near future but for now I'm having a blast anyway!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Really looking forward to meeting everyone in person at future events and wish I had joined earlier in the year but happy to be here now.

I have to admit, the brewery road trip details are fuzzy....it was a lot of work visiting 4 breweries per day:) But for all the beer drinkers out there if you're ever headed to Trillium Brewing in Canton please drop me a line and let me know in advance (I'm a brewer over there). Happy to give a tour and talk shop on jeeps and beer!
