New to Baystate Jeepers
Hello Everyone! My name is Shannon.
Prior to joining Baystate, I met a hand full of its members, and felt welcomed by them immediately.
To date, I haven't done any mods on Animal, initially because it's my DD, and I don't think sound system mods count. He's a 2006 TJ Sport, automatic, 6 cyl...and has developed a (hopefully, minor) transmission issue, which I have just begun research on. So, that repair will take precedence over what I want to do.
I am hoping to start with small mods and don't have a timeline yet...new wheels (won a set, so I will just need to select style and such), slightly larger tires (on my 2nd set of BFG's now and LOVE them...open to thoughts for other brands, definitely want to go a little larger), budget boost (or lift...TBD), and maybe eventually redo some of the armor. I have been off road with it twice. One of the times I felt daunted due to lack of clearance and smaller tire size given the obstacles I was facing and had my first incident with a rock. The rock won, that time. But I still had a blast wheeling it! I've also been a passenger in other rigs a few times and found it fun, scary, and very educational...I only bailed once...haha.
Not sure what else to share, other than...this is my first Jeep/build and I'm looking forward to meeting other members and learning more about my Jeep.
Thanks!

Welcome Shannon. I think the ladies may be outnumbering the men soon. LOL
Speed costs money, how slow do you want to go?

Welcome to the forum, Shannon. Looking to meet you either on the trails or at our upcoming Fall meeting. Still a handful of runs to enjoy this season along with a few other events.
How about some of your rig!

Hey Ish!
Hi Ralph. I couldn't figure out how for the first post, (not used to the site's layout), but it should be attached to this one.

Wow! It's in great shape. We'll have to work on that. We'll start with a few pin stripes provided by Mother Nature. Then, we'll graduate to maybe a dent in the bumper. Do those plans work for you, Shannon? It will be FUN, too.

Haha. Thanks...that was after a bath, so...don't let it mislead you. I'd prefer not to add any pin stripes or dents to its character. Lol. It's got enough personality. But getting more experience wheeling would be awesome!

Okay, fellow members. Who wants to start filling in Shannon about life on the trails and what to expect? I started the ball rolling. Time to add to it.RedAnimalTJ wrote:Haha. Re: New to Baystate Jeepers
I only have a few scratches-- nothing major. I did total it, but not while wheeling
