First time using my new toy tool and I managed to get it stuck up to the front axle,

Who said anything about giving up....
I had cut the large pine tree over 10 years ago and left the 3' stump to rot... little did I know the roots stay alive....
I could almost lift it but not all the way, I had to drag it out back. I found the limits of the tractor and in the end the stump lost

Get it bent back out, and reinforce it....
BTW, you aren't having fun until your back tires are so light you can't actually turn. Instead, the tractor follows the front wheels, and the back wheels gently crab sideways over the ground, resulting in quite the amusing time...
Pines grow shallow roots , many and very wide. Glad to see you were victorious ! Thats the Dave I know ! I dont have have a tractor , you must be rich FjR68

The tires are filled with calcium plus the backhoe out back helps.
I was playing with the individual rear brakes to help turn

Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay - and claims a halo for his dishonesty.
