Gecko hello
Tell us about the mods you have made.
I have done a 4.5 inch Rubicon Express 4-link extreme duty long arm, with fox 2.0 shock BDS tuned for a JK. I also have pro-comp 17 inch matt black wheels with 37x12.5 Nitto trail grapplers on them. I also have front and rear Adams 1310 drive shafts. A small CB and a couple more small things.
Tell us about the mods you hope to make in the future.
Future goal is regear with lockers, front PR 44, evo bolt on coil-overs, rear bumper/tire carrier.
How long have you been offroading?
I have been offroading jeeps from my first car a 91 yj when I was 15.
Is this your first jeep?
This is my second jeep but first new new jeep, the first was a 91 YJ with 35s.

Re: Gecko hello
Welcome.
Have you had your speedometer adjusted for the bigger tires? I went to 35's, and ran for a couple of weeks without correcting the speedo, it was awful. On ODBII it makes a big difference, the computer expects to see certain rpms at certain speeds and if it doesn't match it does funny things to your fuel mixture trying to correct it.
You'll be really happy when you get locked and regeared, too.

Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay - and claims a halo for his dishonesty.

Re: Gecko hello
I think you'll have better luck with an AEV Pro-Cal at $160-$170 than with a Superchips Flashpaq for 2 or 3 times the amount, depending on the model you get and the model of Jeep you have.
We always have these in stock at Elais 4wd Center.
We also sell the SC FLSHPQ but our customers are NOT happy with them, so...
