This.

I did some wondering about this today. Looking back at my muscle car days, we always mounted directional tires with the inside of the "V" pointing forward, your thoughts on the outside of the "V" pointing forward.

With the outside (point) of the V facing forward it will force mud, dirt, water, etc from the middle of the tire towards the outer edge of the tire. If the tires are backwards, it will suck the mud, water, etc towards the middle, thereby reducing traction.

I like the way they cut the wheel for bite on the side wall. Nice looking wheels all around. I still cant believe the gouges and scrapes that happen way deep in the wheel center, you wonder how most of that happens,. Cant wait to see them in action. FjR68

Makes sense Doug. Simple fix, just a need to flip flop driver and passenger side. Thanks for the info.

Frank are you going to make the run on the 28th?

Nice looking JK man, love the new tires! One question though...how the heck do you get that thing inspected? I have trouble and my flares cover way more tire than that. HAHA. Oh, and I like your flares too, what are they?

No : I wont be making any runs this year also. I have a major surgery on the 31st so I will then have recovery to deal with. Thanks for asking. Right next to the AR-23s those wheels are pretty sharp ! Cant believe how natural 37s look under that rig. FjR68

Good luck on your surgery Frank!! The wheel wells on JK's are huge, 37's can fit with a properly centered axle with no body trimming.
