We dont tend to do cookouts and such outside of club runs. We have a spring and fall meeting and we do have a number of camping oppurtunites where we do cookouts....

Maybe we should look into reviving Jeepfest. Anybody else around who remembers them?
Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay - and claims a halo for his dishonesty.

Jeepfest transitioned into Member Appreciation Day (MAD), which transitioned into a free meal at the October meeting.

Which happened because everyone thought it was silly to spend so much money on MAD.

I do think for one or two meetings we did give away a winch though.

We have an acre here in Kingston and would not mind hosting a Potluck or something! We have plenty of room! Nothing I would love to see better is having 20+ Jeeps on our property and freak out the yuppy neighbors  !
