Kurt great point on the vent. the 1st time we did this the seal didnt seat right, so we paid close attention the the second atempt. the second time it dindt leak untill the next day. the vent makes sense. thanks

Just installed front tj axle shafts into a yj and cant get the passanger side shaft to seal. We installed a cr 11800 seal into the ps axle tube, good tight fit. cant stop it from leaking, done this twice now. I done this to my 91 with no issues. The shafts are from a 97 an the yj is a 88. Any sugees...

COULD USE A LITTLE HELP. I HAVE A 91 4.0 YJ AND IT UBRUPTLY STALLS, NO STUMBLING JUST FLAT OUT STALLS. HAS DONE IT AT IDLE AND AT SPEED. IT DOE'S RESTART RIGHT AWAY, BUT ITS ROUGH AT FIRST. I agree ,stay with what works, but if want to entertain the idea of retubing your shaft talk to Manny in the Hartford store.
Labor should be around $125 and tubing from $6.00 to $12.00 a foot.

WOW LOT OF QUESTION. BEST I CAN ANWSER, EDELBROCK CARB AND MANIFOLD, 20X20 RADIATOR NOT MUCH ROOM FOR ANYTTHING LAGER, 50/50 PANHOL (GREEN STUFF), AND TIMMING WAS DONE BY A PRO ????. MOTOR IS STOCK GEN I MID 80'S , FAN SHROUD IS CUSTOM AND ONLY COVERS 2/3 OF THE RAD. THINKING THIS MAY BE THE ISSUE. ...

OVERHEATING
NEED SOME ADVISE. I HAVE A 88 YJ WITH A 305 CHEVY/TURBO 350 TRANY AND IT OVERHEATS WHILE IDLING OR TOWING. WHAT I'VE DONE SO FAR IS A NEW STOCK WATER PUMP, 195 THERMOSTAT, NEW FAN COWL WITH STOCK FAN. I'M THINKING OF TRYING AN ELECTRIC FAN WITH A HIGHER CFM. ANY ADVISE WOULD BE GRATEFUL.
