Re: From TJ to JT
Hope to see you out on the trails soon. Would be cool to have another long wheel base rig on a ride. The gladiator does really well but make sure to have some good rock rails as that’s our weakness for sure. Yea I am hoping my schedule lines up with a ride soon. I just finished the Mopar 2" an...

Re: From TJ to JT
I'm starting to see a lot of JTs on 40"s and 6-inch lifts, and they look awesome. I was planning on just changing out the 33's with 35's, but all the forums are saying just get the 37s. Anyone that went 35s just trades up months later. So I'll probably get the 37s and 2" Mopar or AEV lift.

From TJ to JT
Well I did it. I sold the TJ and got a new JTR. I have wanted the Gladiator since they came out and they are offering such great deals on new ones right now that I was able to swing it. I had to sell my 06 TJ and trade my in my '13 Silverado to do it though. I was smart and went with the Rubicon thi...

2006 TJ 66,000 miles
Putting my TJ up for sale to fund my JTR 2006 Jeep TJ X 66,xxx miles Deep Beryl Green Last year of the TJs! I purchased this vehicle last April (2020), about one year ago. I have completely gone through it. All parts/mods listed below were completed from then to now. It was a 2nd vehicle for me that...

Re: RTT's and Wheeling
Hey Mattj, Thanks for sharing your experience. I do hope to pick up a M416 or M100 trailer at some point to build next and agree that it is the way to go for the RTT. I think I might hold off this season after reading what you wrote about wheeling with it. I think most my trips have a base camp and ...

RTT's and Wheeling
Hey guys, looking for some input on Roof Top Tents (RTTs) and wheeling. I have a few camping/wheeling/overland trips planned for the season and like the idea of sleeping up off the ground. I have a 2006 Wrangler TJ so space is really limited. Its a 2nd vehicle for me that is garaged, and I believe I...

Re: GM 5.3L issues
Does this 5.3 have AFM? I've read that the AFM system is notorious for top end damage. The system deprives the shut down cylinders of oil when activated leading to abnormal wear. I've been looking into the AFM disabler for mine.

Re: Trusted Shop on the Northshore?
Thanks Mark, I'll check out Ratchets. I know most garages could do it, but I'd rather someone who regularly works with TJs.

Trusted Shop on the Northshore?
My TJ D44 rear axle is leaking. I ordered the Spicer kit with the seal and bearing, but don't have a press. I do all the work on the TJ myself, so I don't know of any good axle shops or someone that is familiar with pressing the bearing so it doesn't get messed up. Anyone have any recommendations ne...
