I was at a stop light today, it turned green, and i quickly accelerated - not sure where it got on RPMs, but definitely up there. Suddenly, the exhaust sounded like it got a lot louder.
The exhaust continues to sound louder, and I've lost good amount of acceleration in any gear.
Thoughts on what's happened? I have not had a chance to get under there and look around....
Any help is appreciated! Thanks guys!

Sounds like a baffle in the muffler let go and is probably restricting flow. It could be one of the cats too.

Re: Noisy Jeep & Limited Acceleration!
My first guess would be the catalytic converter. Had it happen to one of my past TJ's
It's possible the catalyst started to break up and is clogging the cats outlet.
Crawl under and rap on the cat and see if you hear it rattling inside.

Thanks guys!
Going to drive the fiance's car for the next couple of days, and figure it out this weekend.
I'll let you know what I find!
