Hi All - I'm new and I met some of you out on Sept. 18th. I've been living in Newton for about 3 years. I live with my fiance Elizabeth and we both do biomed related research in Boston.

Here's my 98 TJ on trail with BSJ.

Tell us about the mods you have made.
Lots. 3" BDS lift, 1"MML + BL, Trail-Gear rear carrier, Genright body mounts, Body Armor rock rails (did this before knowing about Jeff's denting issues :( ), Pro Comp Xtreme AT 265/75/r16 tires, Dana 44 rear with Ected locker, Crown Steering upgrade (ZJ setup), 4.10 gears, Kilby steer box skid, crappy handheld cb.

Tell us about the mods you hope to make in the future
Kilby front bumper with winch mount (I've had it for a while but haven't installed it yet), 33" or maybe even 35" MT tires (sometime next year). Can I live with 35s and 4.10 gears??? :?:

How long have you been a member of Baystate?
1 week.

How long have you been offroading?
1 week. Tried it once before in the California desert a few years back - that's it.

Is this your first Jeep?
Yes. Bought it new at the end of 1997. Only has about 93,000 miles on it.

Welcome!

Nice to see that the wrong turn onto the harder trailed didn't scare you away from us. Although, from what I remember seeing I think you handled it pretty well.

If you ever start feeling withdrawals from not being on a trail for a while we have a support group...
