New to me axle
I found myself a nice project to work on. I’m aiming for next spring to have it done. It’s a big bearing Ford 9” out of a 78 Bronco. I’m thinking an air locker and 35 splines. I’ll probably pick up some bead locks and swap out the front spacers for adapters to correct the bolt pattern.

Sounds like you got a good plan! Don't forget a pinion guard.

Re: New to me axle
I thought that you could get a Ford 9" with either a top and bottom pinion position. Was looking into doing a 9" front and rear at one point (Spidertrax)...Danb33 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 5:01 pmIt’s on the list for sure.MDSRACING398 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 11:57 pm Sounds like you got a good plan! Re: New to me axle
You don't want a high pinion rear. You are run on the wrong side of the gears
