Brake Hardware

Had a squeaky brake after doing mine, knew 2 of the pad clips had gone missing somewhere along the lines, and the new pads didn't come with any... Bought a hardware kit for the front brakes.

Lo and behold, it was the rear. Because of course it was.

Well, the fine folks at Jeep, in their infinite wisdom made the front and rear brake hardware the same on the JK/JKU. So that was a pleasant surprise.

Anyway, just thought that might be a useful piece of information for someone.

Wow, some engineer is going to lose his job for using common parts on front and rear and making it easier. LOL

You can probably thank Dana. Jeep asked them to add brakes to stop "X" vehicle.

My son's "Big Red" YJ should be ready in a month. It's a monster. I'll be mounting the 235/75R15 Goodyear Wrangler Radials this week. :music-rockout:
