NEA annoucement

Baystate has already taken a stand on this. But this is the the statement the NEA put out yesterday.
Members and Delegates,
Irrespective of personal opinions on the seriousness of the ongoing health crisis there is little doubt we are entering a social and economic crisis the likes of which none of us have ever experienced.
In light of the above, we recommend suspension of club-sanctioned events in accordance with orders issued by civilian authorities.
The Brook Ridge open run scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled and registrants have been notified. Nobody can predict how this crisis will unfold so for now we will plan to proceed with other Association events including the May delegate meeting, Off Roading for Acreage, and Fall Crawl. Hopefully the situation will improve so that we will be able to safely and legally proceed with these events.
In the meantime, lets focus on the wellbeing of ourselves, families, and friends while preparing to hit the trail in high gear when the time is right.
The BOD.
