Hi all,
Are there insurance companies who insure unregistered jeeps? I called four companies and struck out because they won't underwrite a please vehicle that is not registered.

Is there a reason you can’t or don’t want to register your Jeep? I’m curious because I decided to google some stuff and seems pretty complex. You seem to have a street legal rig from the description in your signature.

From what I’ve read, State Farm has policies.
They insure unregistered, not street legal Rock buggies and stuff.

At the moment, I currently see registereing it as simply giving the government money without any value back for it (since my current plan is to trailer it everywhere) and MA has no public lands available for offroading.

Seems like Liberty Mutual does liability insurance for off-road vehicles (usually ATV types).

Not sure that they do it for off-road vehicles, but you could also check out the collector car companies as well like Haggerty and Grundy, etc.
