I think Sue Noyes may have helped with the old website and forum. she helped me with a site before and she did a nice job getting it going. TBH this seems like it might be a project that someone on the forum can tackle. I was able to modify a page and create a forum for CFAC a few years back and unless we are looking for an eCommerce store its not too hard to do. Someone please message me when we have a quote in and I might be able to do this in exchange for free membership or something. Are we looking to do any porting of the content of the forum into the new one? that is beyond me but a simple page with subpages is like a class VI road.... ;) If we can get it done cheap I'm fine to see us pay for it but if its in the thousands I can do it for freeish.

What are you looking to do? Obviously, we hired a website designer a few years ago for the current site.

I just want to put my 2 cents in and say whoever we get has to be a legitimate web design company, not someone who does it on the side or as a hobby to make extra money. We voted on this at the Fall Meeting.

We voted to appropriate funds to fix the forums issues. Whether it is new or updated. Just because someone does something part time doesn't mean they are not as qualified as anyone else.
Reason I asked is because I would like to have more than 1 quote to go with.

I agree it does not make then more or less qualified but we want someone who will back up the work and be there when we need them and I don't feel someone who does it on the side will be able to give that. IMO

I think my company just redid our website, can ask some questions and see what I come up with.

I've just spoken to a friend of mine, he's going to take a look at the site and see if it's something he's interested in.
