Broken CA Mount

Unread post by Carl McFly »

Was out with some boys from Southern Vermont last weekend and the ride home was interesting. Thought maybe I broke a control arm - I didn't, but............ :?

(Hoping one of these sets of links work) The break looks clean, hoping its an easy weld-er-up but wanted a expert opinion or two. Sorry for all the mud, haven't driven it since I got it home Sunday night (or cleaned it at all, obviously) so what do you think? Easy fix or part it out?

I'd remove the CA, pull/bend the mount back into position, weld-r-up, re-install CA and wheel it!

Thanks guys. I thought the same thing but feel better after getting your opinions. Just fixed my heater / blower motor (wicked easy fix, it also quit on me the same day my axle decided to part ways) next up is power-wash the crap off of the axle, fix the ole Lincoln ( ), get a tank of CO2 and git er dun!

Update: Lincoln is fixed, got a couple tanks of C25. Need to clean and prep the busted up stuff but with any luck I'll have me rig back together real soon :handgestures-thumbupright:
