Hello,
I've just added myself to the wait list for membership so... I'll see you in 2025?
I drive a black two door 2014 JK Sahara sitting on roughly 1.5" of lift and 33" KO2s. This is about as big as I can go and still fit into my garage as it's not a standard size. This is my first Jeep and I've learned a lot in five years of ownership. Prior to the jeep, I had never turned a wrench on a vehicle. Although my jeep is a Sahara, it's seen some trails and taken some battle scars. I'm looking to join the club so I can find some closer places to wheel, and maybe meet a few people to do some impromptu small group trips with.
Here's a slightly dated picture.
Mod list (I'm sure I'll forget some):
* Rock Krawler lift netting roughly 2.5". This was one of the original 1.5" JKU lifts from when Rock Krawler didn't offer lifts for the two door models.
* Fox 2.0 shocks
* EVO Protek skid system
* Rubicon rock rail and Ace rock slider combo
* Hard rock front (stubby) and rear bumpers and Maximus-3 frame-attached tow points
* KC headlights (not LEDs - I like my headlights to generate some heat)
* No-name amber replacement fog lights from Amazon
* Superwinch Tigershark 9500SR
* Teraflex HD tire carrier
* sPod
* ARB twin compressor + manifold
* Repaired rubicon sway bar with an EVO pneumatic actuator
* Cobra 75WXST CB with a 4' Firestik antenna
* Regeared to 4.10
* 33" KO2 tires
I hope to install air lockers on the soon-ish side. I'm also planning to add more skids - particularly one over the gas tank and transfer case. And some lights for night wheeling eventually.
EDIT: After some measurement, it turns out I'm sitting on closer to 1.5" of lift.

I doubt I'll ever wind up with a light bar.Carl McFly wrote:Hi Marc - welcome! I see armor and gears but no light bar?

Seriously, though, I've only wished I'd had lights once and everything else I've wished for several times. I'll get there eventually.

Welcome to the forums. That’s a good setup you got there. Keep on wrenching!
