Why is there $100 up to $300 for a starter??!
Trying to decide that to get, but is the Mean Green starter really worth $300???

Re: Buying a starter..
Amanda The big deal with the MGreen is , it has a different gear ratio than stock and thats what makes it a stronger starter . Its like a winch co that has a 9k pound winch that spins 176 gear ratio . Then the have the same looking winch rated at 12k but if you look its 212 gear ratio. It pulls the line slower because of the steeper gears giving the same motor more leverage . I would just use a "NEW", not manufactured stock starter and heat wrap it before you put it in. FjR68
