New to forum from Peabody

Hey all,

The name is Nick. I am new to the forum and hope to become a member for the upcoming 2019 season if there are spots available! I bought my Jeep in August 2016 with 43k on the odometer. Its a 2014 JKU Sahara in Flame Red. This is my second Jeep, but first Wrangler. My grandfather affectionately named it 'RedBird' and the name stuck. Its been a pretty mild build so far adding mostly second-hand HardRock Rubicon takeoffs (bumpers, wheels/tires, shocks, and sliders). It now has 77k miles and has traveled much of the eastern coast of the US over the last few years with the most recent trip being 2,500+ mile roadtrip to Savannah, GA.

As far as suspension goes - just a TeraFlex 1.5" Leveling Kit. I've been beefing up the steering recently, adding a TeraFlex HD Track Bar and TeraFlex HD Ball Joints. The goal is to get a 2.5" lift and larger tires for better clearance. However, I'd like to get a good understanding of the Jeep's current capabilities before lift/tires.

I'm pretty green when it comes to offroading. I've gone on trail rides with other clubs and have explored some Class VI's in NH. I'd like to explore more of what New England offers and thought this club would be great way to do it! Here is a recent picture of my Jeep.

welcome to the forums, and hopefully you can make it in in 2019 its the best club out there for wheeling. Nice looking JKU and sounds like you have a good handle on your mods, thou I dont see some skid plates in there.

Thanks! I hope to join as well. Aside from the OEM skid plates, I have added some underbelly protection with a Rock Hard oil/trans skid plate. Hopeful to add differential covers this winter too!
