Hey all,

Just discovered my radiator has a leak on the driver side seam. I've heard this is a common occurrence on the 11 on up. (Mine is a 14) Any how, I am looking to replace and been looking at the Flex-a-lite Aluminum Flex-a-fit Radiator. Does anybody have any experience or knowledge with this brand. Or do you guys have any recommendations for a new radiator?

I read a couple bad reviews about them which makes me nervous (https://www.quadratec.com/node/28111/reviews). Good customer service but product failing faster then expected? Doesn't seem like there is a lot of choice out there for a radiator though.

Replaced mine ('13). Literally split on the drivers side top to bottom. Tried finding aftermarket replacement (including Mishimoto) but only available for the '07-''11 on the 3.8 ltr engine. nothing (at the time of the replacement) was available for the '12-'18 model. Had to go back to the OEM again, Hoping that it does not break again...

How long did your first OEM last? Mine is splitting on the seam as well. I am thinking Radiator Leak stop to give me a little bit of time till I find something.

I just replaced it last fall, so ~3.5/4 years. Strangely, the crack only let out when the engine was Super hot, and it never got too hot. I was talking to the Mechanic and he was amazed at the mileage I put on it without ever seeing any issue (other than the radiator fluid low, but took months to go low).

I had to go OEM as aftermarket kept leaking. I was blowing thru 2 to 3 a year for 2 years. Granted, mine jeep is now 20, but still.
