I'm wondering, Kurt, if you would be available for another wrenchfest, possibly November 11th or 12th? I have a tie rod, an axle shaft, ball joints, and brakes . I am more than willing to do the wrenching myself, I would just like the know-how over my shoulder so it can get done correctly and in a timely manner. And the garage would be nice if it's cold and rainy.

Maybe you could put in a starter for me ? FjR68

Be sure to get a "loaner" ball joint press and adapters from Autozone. We'll need it to do the ball joints.
You'll need to leave a deposit for the tool but they refund your money when you return the tool.

I've always had the charge go back on the card I used to leave the deposit. I don't know if it changes anything, but I have an autozone rewards card with them as well.

If I can make in on the 11th, I have a Ball Joint kit I can bring. Won't know for certain that I can make it until the week before.

If I can remember to bring it to the meeting tomorrow I will. Just get it back to me whenever.

Debit VS Credit can make this an issue, while you might use a Debit card so long as you use the credit function you will be better. I have had the same problem Jeff mentioned, its because of the way transactions are processed, it shows in the stores history like a cash sale and therefore can only be refunded as cash. If that is not an issue to you then no worries, if it is, and you want to use plastic make sure they run it as a credit card.
