sPOD JK install

All,
I'm about to start some electrical work on my 2015 JK, first by installing a sPOD relay, then hooking up some switches on my a-pillar to power some accessories. Besides the obvious (don't shock yourself!), does anybody have any suggestions to make this a relatively simple operation and to avoid subtle problems?
