Happy Trails . . .

"Happy Trails" (with apologies to Dale Evans who wrote the original lyrics)
Happy trails to you, until we meet again.
Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about rock gardens or bad weather?
Just bring a winch and I'll pull us back together.
Happy trails to you, 'till we meet again.
Some trails are red ones,
And others are green or blue.
It's the way you ride the trail that counts,
There's a happy one for you.
Although our season has ended,
You know where you'll soon be.
It's the Christmas season,
And you're wondering what's under the tree.
Could it be a set of skids?
Or bumpers not bought by a grinch?
If you're really lucky,
It may just be a winch.
Ace, ARB, Teraflex and M.O.R.E.,
There's nothing better than a Jeep store.
Quadratec, Morris, Northridge and Crown,
They'll have what you want so please, no frown.
January, February,
March and April.
With our new toys in hand,
Wrenchfests must prevail.
Spring will be here before you know,
And our Jeep 101 will teach you how to go.
Happy trails to you, until we meet again.
Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then.
Who cares about the clouds when we're together?
Just sing this song and bring the sunny weather.
Happy trails to you, 'till we meet in Spring.
Many of you, I’m sure, have probably never heard of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.
Back in the early 50’s there was a famous TV western show called “The Roy Rogers Show” and their theme song was titled “Happy Trails”. It was in pretty much the same era as The Lone Ranger”. It’s a “catchy” kind of tune that tends to stick in your head after hearing it. Roy was every 10 year olds idol back then.
Please take a moment to watch the YouTube video to hear the original song and view images from the show. It will give you a better feeling as to the tune when reading the changes I have made to their lyrics:

Roy Rogers’s horse, “Trigger”, was as famous as Roy and Dale. So much so that, upon dying, was stuffed and put on display, as was Roy’s famous dog “Bullet”.
