Hello from East Braintree

Unread post by Richard Russell »

Hi my name is Richard Russell
I now own a 2005 wrangler, had a 73 cj5 but that was years ago, I do have off-road experience in jeeps as I was in the army before hummers....god I miss those days.
Mods to my Jeep so far:
3" skyjacker lift kit
16" rims with Toyo open country m\t tires
( Same as on my 05 F-250 FX4 )
Barricade classic front and rear bumpers
Barricade side steps
Warn 10,000 lb winch
That's about it for now until they send me the right mounting bracket for my roof rack.
Hope to meet the group soon.

Welcome Richard!

I'm running an 05 Rubicon also with a 3" lift and aggressive tires. Your jeep will fit in nicely here!
2005 TJ, built and beat accordingly

Hi Richard, welcome.

I've lived in Holbrook for most of my life, and never heard of East Braintree until a couple of years ago...
I got off active duty in 1980 - the Army was just getting Hummers then. They worked out pretty well for us in Desert Storm, but they got a bad rep in Iraqi Freedom, when the that nitwit Rumsfeld tried to use them where they should have been using Bradleys or Stykers.

See you on the trails...
