Wrenchfest - Brake Pad Replacement

Unread post by RalphTomaccio »

Okay, it's that time again. I received my EBC Extra Duty Front & Rear Brake Pads, have the hardware kits, brake cleaner and grease (missing anything?). Now it's time to see if we can bring it all together in a wrenchfest. Being retired, during the week is always good, but I'm open to whatever you guys have available.

Decided on these pads:

Thanks for your offer to help, pirahnah3, but I live in a condo and need someone with a workspace, floor jack, etc.

Ralph, I know it's a haul but my garage is always available. Can help you any "work day" of the week and some weekend days. :)

Kurt, that is one haul I do not mind making. To have an opportunity to learn from a master and know the job is going to be done correctlly - priceless. I'd be happy to come up. Thank you.

As far as dates, I'm booked through the 5th but have the 6th or 8th available, or any time the following week. And, Mark, you're more than welcome to join us if Kurt doesn't mind.

Ralph,
Both the 6th and the 8th are good for me. Just pick a day and time.
Any and all are invited to watch/help/learn. :)

All set for the 'fest tomorrow. Garage emptied and the A/C is on so it's comfy.
Suppose to be in the 90's tomorrow.

My back's been out all day today. It usually doesn't last this long any more so I'm hopeful I'll be good for tomorrow. If so, I'll see you both at 10am.
