Im from Cape Cod and just bought my first Jeep!

Hey everyone im from the Cape and just bought my first jeep! I am a mechanical engineering student at Umass Dartmouth, I graduate in May of 2016. My jeeps a 1997 Wrangler 2.5l 5 speed with a 4" lift and 32s. I have taken it on some trails and beaches down here but I want to be able to explore some other trails with my dad and gf and maybe make a day trip out of it or even weekend trip! If anyone wants to meet up with me and go wheeling and show me the ropes, please let me know! I am willing to learn and have fun on the trails!

And, did you know we have two runs coming up this month? Then we go into "WrenchFest" mode where we begin fixing the past year's damage and doing mods to prepare for next year's carnage! You'll either have to drop some classes to afford all this or get another part time job, in which case you won't have time to wheel.

Ralphster Yer crackin me up. New Dude Welcome to the club. The run coming up on sat is a great place to start and its our annual pot luck dinner afterward. Thats like double bingo ! I live in Ct. so I dont want to hear its a big drive. A great way to meet the folks and not kill your rig first time out. Nice lookin TJ by the way . How is the frame on that one as most of them are showing issues. Hope to see you on a trail soon. FjR68

Most of the time you have to be a paid member to wheel with us. The properties we wheel are mostly private with permission . I will let one of the BOD members give you a pass. Being a member has so many benefits including the wheeling part. I thought you had sent in membership and noticed you only have a member status not BSJ status. I will ask the bod to make an exception as its so late in the season. Someone will get back to you here. FjR68

Typically, you need to be a paying member but we are at the end of our season- technically.

I (secretary) sent off a message to our President and Vice President to see if you can attend as a guest as we do allow that in our bylaws. We just need permission from either of those guys before hand. Do you still have the factory front tow hooks? And, a tow hook in the rear? How about a full size spare?

If you want to become a member- its $30 for the remainder of the year which gets you on the members only board on the forum. And, the last 2 scheduled runs this month. After the last runs, most of us work on our Jeeps over the winter and host wrenchfests for other members to join in. Starting in 2016, regular membership is back at $50 for the entire year.
