Driving me crazy!!!!!!

Unread post by King Hap »

My red light above my Temp gauge, Will go on and blink and the "Check engine" light will come on. Then they go off!!! I have had the dealer ,My mechanic and even searched a couple Jeep boards. It gets no error code, car does not over heat or anything........ Just from time to time this happens. Anyone have this issue ever?

Yup. My dash would light up just as you described plus I noticed when it happened my tach went to 0 and then back up. it ended up being a lose negative battery cable.

I brought to dealer because they had did work on it not thar long before. They couldn't figure it out so I recorded what was happening and showed them. They figured it out after that.

Yeah. Computerized vehicles are great. Until they're not.
