Are stingers legal in MA?

I was thinking of getting a bumper with a stinger and winch at some point and could not find any info on if its legal. :confusion-helpsos:

hmmm good question. If you are thinking of a hoop to protect the hood kind of stinger that should not be an issue. Police cars often have a bull bumper in front to protect the radiator. Obnoxious 4' long things that stick way out would be a concern but a moderate one should be OK. I had a ARB bumper with a grill hoop for years and never had an issue. my new BFH bumper has a similar setup and seems to go un-noticed by Johnny Law.... So far.... ;)
