Another NooB to the forum!

Unread post by kdukes4 »

Hey everyone,

My name is Kyle, it's a pleasure to meet you! I live in Somerville, MA. I own a '04 TJ. Jeep has been in the family since I was a kid. Bought my first 97' TJ in college and upgraded to my current jeep right after graduation (sold the old one to my father). First jeep started off stock, with absolutely no knowledge of offroading, suspension, engines, etc. Before I knew it, it was 31s, then 33's on a ZJ/TJ spring upgrade and BL. Two weeks ago I finished outboarding my tj and swapping from 4.5" RE Coils to 3.5" MetalCloak Dual Rates. 35 KM2s, dana 44s with alloy 31 chromo and 35 spline, ARB lockers front and rear, 4.88s, currie adj. lower CA's, RE adj uppers, tommy woods DS, SYE, front/rear adj track bars, Currie HD front steering set up, Rancho RS9000XLs, Vanco Big Brake Kit up front... other things that i'm sure i'm missing. EDIT: my front bumper is a Baystate Offroad Bumper! Alpine HU, Pioneer 10" shallow sub, polk DB525s.

I'm originally from Maine and am still close with a lot of the guys up at Penobscot Valley 4wd. Bill, Trish, Mike, Dave, etc. I have a whole build thread there if you want to check it out.http://forum.pv4wd.com/simplemachinesfo ... pic=1341.0

I've been in Somerville for about two years now, and the jeep hasn't seen dirt in a while :/ I'm looking to try and get out this summer for a run or two if I can, it'd be great to meet some people and talk jeep!

here's a few recent pics when I was doing some turkey hunting and salmon fishing this past weekend up in ME:
