Hmmm, okay, who wants to go first?
Okay, ill ask the question,
Where in Tewksbury? Looks like power lines. Did you have explicit permission to be there?
If not we need to let you know you most likely should not have been wheeling there. But we'll give you the benefit of a doubt for the moment...

Not entirely at fault, Yes those are power lines, BUT when we drove by there was a crew working on the poles with a police officer, so we ask the police officer if it was ok if we drove down past them. He said it was ok this once as long as we didnt leave any trash behind or damage the power lines. So yes i know only Class VI Roads are the place to go but if a police officer grants me one time access, i just cant pass that up . Im not going to say where it is as i dont want others going down there thinking it is ok and getting in trouble.

Works for me I guess. I just don't want to see some new people get in trouble. FWIW, many power lines are easements. Having said that, the cop may not have a clue as to who owns the property.Elt31987 wrote:Not entirely at fault, Yes those are power lines, BUT when we drove by there was a crew working on the poles with a police officer, so we ask the police officer if it was ok if we drove down past them. Not really. We can not condone trespassing on private property. My intention was to inform not scare. I am VTP certified you know...Chris wrote:Talk about scaring away folks that are new to the forum.Scott wrote:Did you have explicit permission to be there?

BTW, If you two are interested in joining we do way more than class six roads. We are an NEA4WD club that practices tread lightly. We have access to association land with trails you wouldn't believe. ALL 100% legal. We rarely do class 6 stuff, to easy.

Yea i'm interested in joining. Wanted to check out the site/forums beforehand. I actually found your organization on the NEA4WD organization list..Scott wrote:BTW, If you two are interested in joining we do way more than class six roads. We are an NEA4WD club that practices tread lightly. )
Unfortunately my JK is also my DD so i can't do anything too harsh yet...
Not sure if this is the place to ask but i was reading through the requirements to wheel with you guys and i meet them all except the CB radio part. Are those definitely required to wheel? Also how about the full spare?
