Hi Everyone!
I hail from Bossier City Louisiana where I grew up riding passenger seat in Bronco's and Z71's. Been four wheeler riding since I was a little guy.
I've added the CB Radio and that is pretty much it so far...
I'd like to go 4" skyjacker at 35' tires. Want to change the front bumper, add a winch (so I don't worry about going out alone), add a light bar above the window with some KC Headlights, Lockers, and most of all, I want it to be summer so I can take the doors and the top off!
I went to the Detroit auto show in 2013 and fell in love with a Rubi, finally bit the bullet and bought a sport in January because I was just going to change everything up anyways.
This is my first Jeep and I am absolutely in love with it. My other ride is a 1948 Chevy 3100 Half ton Pickup truck with about 425 HP (just dropped a Mopar 408 in it, Chevy is great but Mopar is a powerhouse).
I'm really annoyed with the fact that there are almost no open trails to go on in MA as they were a dime a dozen in Louisiana. I'd really like to figure out some good places to go!
I am a gear head, but would love to get some help once I jack my suspension.
Forum's are great, but conversations and suggestions from people who have expereince are better! Glad to have found a club that is local and family oriented!
Looking forward to Jeep 101 so I can get pulled out when I get swamped and stuck. It's not off roading if you aren't getting stuck!!!!!!
Best,
Andrew
BTW, I bought my Jeep during a snow storm ( got a great deal as I was the only guy that bought from the dealership that day). You can see where my first parking spot was once I got home in my picture!

Welcome Andrew : Cant wait to scratch another , I mean wheel with another lover of Jeeps. See ya on a trail. Belonging to a club up here is the only way to have fun without getting arrested . It sucks its come to this. As for wheelin alone ,---- dont ,if you dont have to. FjR68
