they can ship a car or 10 by rail or truck across the state or across the country, may be worth looking into for the next Moab trip. It looks like it takes a few weeks to get there and back but I would imagine for that $$ it should be cheaper than 1K pre rig....

I emailed them and for a single Jeep its 2K to ship via car hauler. I am still waiting to hear what the rail price is. It would be loaded into a car carrier for trains and shipped cross country. I think they say 14 days transit to be safe in-case its delayed but they haven't been too specific as yet. If we were planning a tirp to Moab in the spring when we cant do runs out this way it may not be much of an issue especially if the price is right.
I would rather fly to UT than drive but if its 2k to ship that is a tough nut to swallow. I know trains are super cheap cargo wise so I'm very curious about the price.... Ive seen enough corn in my travels out west to spend 3 days behind the wheel... each way...

thats my thinking Josh. If we post on the NEA or in select clubs with people we know and like I'm betting we could get a trip out to Moab going. The option of renting in UT does not appeal to me anymore than driving a trailer cross country...
