Just a reminder to everyone to be careful and take your time. My father in-law was in the hospital last night after his chainsaw kicked back and hit him in the face. Miraculously he is ok, just got a massive cut that goes from the corner of his mouth down his neck and to his collar bone. They don't know how he didn't cut the carotid artery. They could see it through the cut but it wasn't even nicked.
So be careful and make sure there is always someone with you.

Re: Chainsaw Safety
Glad he's ok! Chaps, helmet, eye protection everytime I get one of the saws out to cut. I've seen too many pictures myself of chainsaw injuries; I dread the thought of doing it to myself.

Re: Chainsaw Safety
geeeze Josh...I thought this was going to be a post about an NEA held class! Glad he's ok. Well, now he has a cool scar to tell stories with, scare kids and the begginnings of a fun Halloween costume! OIY, seriously though, glad he's ok!
