Josh Brimador is up in Portsmouth, he is the one raffeling a Jeep at GTD in NH, sold me my new JK and is a wheeler and straight shooter. Before you do anything though get yourself a Tread Lightly 2 or 3yr membership and you get a great deal from anybody with the Chrysler friends and family discount. feel free to tell him I sent you.

Re: Recommendations for Jeep dealerships
The only place I checked out was Harr in Worcester and that was last year! But, I'm on the search again for a new Jeep!
I'll hop on over to both of those places and see if they can get me a good deal.

Re: Recommendations for Jeep dealerships
Don't even bother with Quirk, in my experience they thought I was stupid and didn't know Jeeps. They tried to tell me that a Liberty was better for me than a Rubicon.... NO FREAKIN WAY!
I hate the Chevy part of them too. If everything in one area over heats you think the plastic piece wont get damaged and you should probably order that part as well.
What do you want Jeep wise?

Re: Recommendations for Jeep dealerships
replacing the "family sedan" with a "family Jeep"... unsure of which, ALL depends on the price.
This is just going to be the family car.. however, I realized I don't want anything else but a Jeep! I don't need an "off-roading" vehicle since I already have one. haha
4d Wrangler- big enough, basic, and has to have a hardtop
Liberty- wicked cheap since they are nno longer making them, decent engine, and more of a "luxury"
Patriot- beyond cheap, better gas mileage, small engine..

They stopped making the Liberty?
Did a bunch of research on the Patriot as we were looking at a lease. Found out that after a couple of years, people ended up having front end issues aka cheap components. Since we were leasing, I didn't think this would be an issue, however could be if buying. Overall, I loved the ride, features and room of the Patriot for a family ride. Ended up with a CRV and talk about a solid family ride that is great in the snow and fuel-efficient.

Re: Recommendations for Jeep dealerships
We've been more than happy with Donna's 4-door. Bought it in '07 and never looked back. 6 years, 65k miles later it's still going strong, we'll be taking it down to North Carolina again this year. She offroads it occasionally, too. She's run it in a couple of powder puff runs, and it gets 50 - 200 beach miles on it every year down in NC. You owe it to the kids to have the family wagon be a Jeep.asauer17 wrote:replacing the "family sedan" with a "family Jeep"... unsure of which, ALL depends on the price.

Hardtop with freedom panels is almost like topless, but it only takes seconds to put the panels back on if you get caught in a downpour.
Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay - and claims a halo for his dishonesty.

Re: Recommendations for Jeep dealerships
If you're buying new, might as well get dual tops, not a very expensive option.
That said, don't rule out a soft top JKU, the heater is awsome in JK's, you won't even notice it's a soft top in the winter....and frankly, they're more water proof than the hard top is.

Re: Recommendations for Jeep dealerships
I can't have two tops if I get thr JKU cause I don't have the room to store a ht!!
Chris- I read similiar things about the Patriot for models that were 2009/2010. Haven't heard anything about the 2013/2014! Time will only tell, I guess.
I thought about the GMC Terrain aswell... but, I don't think I would be happy. I'm not a Honda, Toyota, Nissan, or Ford fan. Haha, limits my options
