For some reason the kit comes with 4 lock rings, 2 med size ones to that retain the plastic spedo gear (blue) and 2 large ones. According to the instructions you only use 1 large one to retain the gears, what is the 2nd large lock ring for???

I read the AA SYE directions and the ones here http://www.4x4xplor.com/SYE-CV.html neither directions mention using both large lock ring.

there might be one for the gear cluster, or they might have packaged an extra?

Found an older set of directions and it states a qty of 1 large lock ring, 2nd one must be an extra.

BTW this was a peice of cake to install!! Now to finish today, yokes, axles & control rear control arm.
