I hope you are all doing OK after Sandy. We lost a few small trees and such but did not loose power all in all nearly a non-event compared to last years storm for me. If anyone needs something post up here and we can try to help you out.

We fared well here too. Had power throughout, both trees held together and remained upright.

Fine in Bridgewater. Some downed limbs and lost power between 3:30 and about 7:30, nothing biblical though.

Power went out for a few hours late afternoon yesterday, but was back on ~8pm in my area of Hollis. Lots of small stuff came down, but nothing significant.

Worst "damage" was one of my wood piles tipped over and will need to get re-stacked.

Technically, our office is closed today, but a bunch of us are in and working.

I'm okay, but my neighbor's Subaru directly across the street from me was flattened. No one was hurt and we never lost power.

OK here as well. Never lost power but there is a pine tree leaning against the wires where they run through the woods. (Due to the length of the run there is a steel cable running with the power cables, it is taking all the weight). One other tree was being ripped out at the roots and is leaning at a 45 degree angle away from the house and drive way. This one is going to need the winch to yank it the rest of the way down safely. :happy-jumpeveryone:

One screen came off a second floor window and a small piece of trim came off on the windward side of the roofline near the peak.

No issues here. Lights only flickered a couple of times.
Just had to keep the driveway drain free of leaves during the heavy downpours.
Commute home and back in today sukt. A section of RT 119 is closed requiring a round about detour to get to and from 495.
Apparently 6 telephone poles snapped and are all over the road.
Probably going to be a while until National Grid gets them fixed.

There are pics of that on Facebook. 6 or so poles by the new storage facility / police station went down.

On the upside I just heard there is a multiplex cinema going up on the hillside they have been clearing.... :)

Rumor has it they have 119 open... (http://www.nashobapublishing.com/breaki ... ins-closed) .

I lost some leaves off my trees in my front yard... that's about it.

Lights flickered once I think.
Had a dead tree fall across the road at about 12:30 in the afternoon after a gust of wind. Pulled it to the sidewalk so traffic could get by (state had it cleaned up within an hour!).
Top half of a maple broke behind the house. Some of the branches bounced off the roof. No damage but it made one heck of a noise!
The worst (not for me though) was Direct TV lost it's signal feed for all the boston chanels around 7:30pm or so. Wasn't able to contine watching reporters getting drenched on the beaches while telling everyone to stay indoors.

If you need to get rid of that tree I'd be interested in the wood.... I heat with wood and nothing worth burning came down in my neighbourhood. Have chainsaw, will travel... :)

Our internet went out at home ~3pm yesterday, but power is still on. Kind of sucks we can't get online, but it could be worse.

We never lost power but the land line phone was knocked out for a couple days
All jeeps, jeep parts, and horses were ok
Haven't checked the trails for blockages yet
We did have a couple of our ducks blow away never to be seen again
