Garden Hose Unlocks Doors

Had a real head scratcher happen today that I have to share.
Backed the wifes GC out of the garage to wash it.
Grabbed the garden hose and started to spray the passengers door area with water. As soon as I did the doors unlocked and the lights flashed.
What the.....
Sprayed water again... doors unlocked and lights flashed again.
Really baffled now!
Kept spraying around and found as soon as I sprayed water on the door handle the doors unlocked!
What the heck!
Then it dawned on my that the key fob was still in my pocket. The metal nozzle combined with the water stream was conductive and made the GC "think" I was grabbing the door handle.
Mystery solved
