Hey jeep gurus - I could use some help on this one.
The last couple of days, I've had to crank the key all the way forward and more than usual to hit the starter switch. This morning it wouldn't start. I took the ignition apart and it'll start if the switch and ignition cylinder are out of the jeep and pushed together in my hand (as in the pic), but won't start when it's put back together. It's acting like something has worn. Is it the ignition switch or the starter actuator pin? Do I need to remove the actuator pin assembly from the switch housing to see what's going on? I could use some suggestions! Thanks

Re: Ignition switch problem
Did some more taking apart and found this dohicky in the switch actuator pin assembly was broken.
Funny how rock armor will let your jeep take a beating on the trail, but some little buried piece of die cast metal breaks and then it's dead in the water.
