Does this shaft telescope? Or is this just collapsible with a plastic pin?
I am having issues getting it on after a steering box swap, It seems to be too short and was wondering if I could just make it longer?
TIA,
J

They are suppose to telescope. Unfortunately they typically get rusty and seize up.
In the past I've had to remove them from the Jeep, work it loose so it slides and re-lubricate it to it telescopes properly again.
If it's too far gone you can buy a new replacement steering shaft for ~100.
